Search the Library Catalog

A great place to begin any research project is with the Library Catalog.  Our catalog searches all SU Libraries as well as the collection located in the Office of Career Services, so results will show all books available to you on campus.

For best results, try the classic catalog search.

A sample keyword search might be:

"administrative law" and career

Alternatively, you may get good results searching by the following subject heading:

Law-Vocational Guidance-United States

Every stage of your job search will require research and preparation. This guide is intended to direct you to some useful sources to help you get started in the process. The Syracuse University Law Library purchases many print materials that you will find helpful in your career research, as well as access to many online databases that can contain useful information.  Explore the tabs above to uncover books, websites and tips that will help you prepare for your future.

If you have any questions on accessing any materials in the Law Library, please come in and speak with one of our Reference Librarians, or contact us at or (315) 443-9572.
